Senior Ops Apps Developer

Responsibilities:

• Work with development teams to design and architect operations applications for video transcoding and video ingestion.

Personal Characteristics:

• Excellent problem solving, multi-tasking and communication skills. Good prioritization skills.
• Very strong sense of responsibility and commitment.
• Fast learner with the ability to work independently in a team environment.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Education, Experience, and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or 4 years development experience in LAMP environment)
• Minimum 3 years unix system administration in a complex 24X7X365 internet focused business.
• 3+ years developing applications
• Experience with building system and application level monitoring tools for large deployment are highly preferable. Familiarity with some of monitoring applications like cacti & nagios.
